Saratoga Quality Hardware Was Established in August of 1976 When William Eddy Sr. And Three of His Sons, Bill, Rod and Gene Eddy, Purchased Claire’s Hardware on East Avenue in Saratoga Springs. The Business Quickly Grew and Within Five Years They Had Outgrown This Location and Needed to Expand. They Moved to 110 Excelsior Avenue and Renovated the Existing Building on That Property. Five Years Later Quality Hardware Had Outgrown It’s Location Again. By 1986 They Had Completed Construction on the Current Building and Relocated the Business There.
Over the Years Quality Hardware Expanded into Other Locations. Around 1980 Quality Hardware Purchased a Small Store in the Kingsbury Plaza in Hudson Falls, Ny. Within a Few Years They out Grew This Location and Built a New Store on Rt. 4 in Hudson Falls. This Location Is Thriving in the Hudson Falls Area and Nearly Tripled Its Size in 2006 with the Addition of a Large Drive-thru Lumberyard.
